Blackmagic DeckLink is a range of next generation uncompressed broadcast video cards used by leading post production and television facilities worldwide. With 8 different models of DeckLink, there is a model perfect for everyone. DeckLink models range from the original DeckLink card, featuring true 10 bit SDI right through to the amazing DeckLink HD Pro featuring the industry’s highest quality dual link HDTV 4:4:4 12 bit technology. Other models feature analog for monitoring and deck connections.

All cards in the DeckLink family have the built in real time effects and also support RT Extreme in Final Cut Pro (Mac). Other features include, internal keying, 10 bit, 8 bit and JPEG capture formats, and many other features to help you deliver the most innovative creative work to your client.


Decklink 2DeckLink 2

The original DeckLink card. Great for simple 10 bit SDI only applications, it features SDI in and out, unbalanced AES output and RS-422 remote control with all connections on the rear of the card. The original DeckLink model does not have genlock as it provides a stable SDI output for locking decks to the card, eliminating the need for a black burst generator.

Decklink ProDeckLink Pro

Ideal for working with SDI equipment, such as Digital Betacam™ decks, while using analog CRT monitors without an SDI input. DeckLink Pro has SDI input and outputs, and also includes analog component YUV/NTSC/PAL switchable video-out, great for video monitoring. DeckLink Pro also includes genlock input when connecting to large broadcast systems as well as RS-422 remote control. DeckLink Pro includes 4 x unbalanced AES outputs, so you can output 8 channels of digital audio de-embedded from the SDI video output. All connections are on a long 2 meter, 7 foot break out cable so you don’t need to purchase any extra cables when building your editing system.

Decklink SPDeckLink SP

PCIe Version Now Available!

If you're using older analog Betacam SP™ decks, then DeckLink SP is specifically designed for that job. It features analog component YUV video input and output, with analog balanced XLR audio. DeckLink SP also includes unbalanced AES out, 10 bit SDI output for digital mastering, genlock input and RS-422 control. All connections are on a long 2 meter, 7 foot break out cable for a direct to deck connection. Now available in standard PCI-33/66 or PCI Express models.

When you need to connect to both digital SDI as well as analog component YUV decks, you need a capture card that can handle both analog and digital connection in and out. DeckLink Extreme is the ultimate standard definition card, because it combines the analog component YUV/NTSC/PAL switchable video and analog XLR audio in and out, along with digital 10 bit SDI inputs and outputs. Also included is unbalanced AES output, genlock input and RS-422 deck control. All connections are on a long 2 meter, 7 foot break out cable. If you don't need analog compatibility, and are looking for a pure digital card, that has higher 4:4:4 SDI quality, then DeckLink HD Pro is the perfect choice. DeckLink HD Pro supports dual link SDI, so you can work natively in 4:4:4 10 bit RGB, for high end effects and feature film work. 10 bit RGB 4:4:4 is compatible with the Sony HDCAM-SR 4:4:4 deck, and allows full color resolution for amazing quality. DeckLink HD Pro does not include the analog video input or analog audio in and out, however it does have the amazing 14 bit analog monitoring out for flexibility. DeckLink HD Pro is available in two models, PCI Express 4 Lane, and PCI-X 133 MHz slots for maximum compatibly.
